New Cover

I had to change the Main feature so this is the new cover to match!

OH NO!!!

After talking to the artist it seems like he isn't that interested in being on my magazine, so I have now change my double page spread to cover multiple made up interviews of drum and bass artists.  This has possibly benefited me as I can get more information without tearing my hair out.

The first draft has been looked at by my focus group and they said apart from now having to change the artist they dont feel that it needs to be changed.  It has a professional look to it and some said they thought it was a real magazine.

I have also started looking at my double page spread, and planed it to look similar to Q magazines as u can see from this photo!

Second copy

After feed back i took on board there ideas and i came up with this, as i was told there wasn't enough pictures on the front cover making it look rather boring and poster like.

The first copy

I had to look at the top selling magazines to see what would sell for that particular genre, my genre was club scene and drum and bass.  Knowing the club scene relatively well from working for UTR events i knew that bright colours would be attractive.  So i quickly through together a front cover that i thought would be good and got feed back from it, the results were mostly positive.  But this is what it looked like-----
