Well before I started my new music magazine, I had to look at music magazines to choose a ideal template for mine I looked at these two:

This cover doesn't appeal to me because I feel that it's too cluttered and that amount of people in the cropped photos, doesn't allow you to see the main aims of this issue of the magazine.

The Q magazine doesn't look like a music magazine, it's too strong, but very aesthetically pleasing.

This would attract an older group of people, the 16-20s which is the demographic group I am aiming for.

The black and red attracts you to look across the whole cover, the main feature is in red and sticks out of the page. Along with the lure BOLD white writing sticks out this will entice you to read the cover and potentially buy it

From looking at the ways that the magazines present themselves, then I have draw up very basic ideas of how I want the my Music Magazine to look:
